I was scrolling on TikTok one day and stumbled across a video of a woman filming a "GRWM" while she talked about the causes and effects of cannibalism, of course briefly. I was interested, not only because it's a topic like cannibalism, something people do not discuss on an everyday basis, but also because one of my favorite shows features cannibalism: Hannibal NBC. What caught my attention further was the mention of "kuru," which I knew was in the lyrics of a song by an artist I like, Will Wood. This video was so closely related with interests of mine that I couldn't help but look into it further, although briefly at the time. My favorite topic to search up was about prions. Learning about how they worked, their purpose, and the diseases they could cause if mutated was incredibly entertaining; hence, this website.
